Community Dining
Donoghue’s Open Door is more than a place to eat — it’s a place to belong. At FeedNC, our community dining experience brings neighbors together around nutritious meals in a welcoming, dignified space.
Guests can gather at shared tables to connect with others or choose a private table if they prefer. Our meals are prepared with care, including allergy-aware options, and served by a team committed to safety and hospitality. The dining room also serves as a hands-on training space for our Culinary Workforce students.
Come join us Monday-Friday from 8am to 2pm.
New Year, New Career
FeedNC’s Crash Course & Coffee is a relaxed, no pressure way to learn more about our Workforce Development Program and see if it could be a good fit for you or someone you know. Join us for coffee and an informal conversation where you can meet our instructors, ask questions, and learn what the program is really like.
Our 10 week Workforce Development Program offers hands on training, life skills, and industry certifications, with pathways in culinary or warehouse careers. Students may also earn up to $550 in incentives while gaining skills that lead to long term stability. No sign up is necessary, just come as you are and learn more about what’s possible.
Gardening For Good
Gardening for Good is FeedNC’s hands-on education program designed to empower individuals and families to grow their own food with confidence. Through beginner-friendly classes and practical demonstrations, participants learn essential gardening skills such as seed starting, seasonal planting, soil preparation, and harvesting.
Rooted in our mission to connect people to food and education, Gardening for Good equips our community with the knowledge and tools to cultivate healthy habits, reduce food insecurity, and grow something meaningful at home. 🌱
