Bynum is a Senior Real Estate Representative for Chick-fil-A Inc., and has been in the commercial and industrial real estate field for over 23 years.  He is a Mooresville resident and has served on the FeedNC Board since 2019.   Bynum first became interested in FeedNC while volunteering at the Broad Street facility.  He quickly realized the building was undersized to meet this critical need in the community, and was motivated to join the Board when efforts began to relocate and build a new facility on Highway 21.  He is also moved by how many residents in Iredell County and surrounding counties suffer from food insecurity, particularly children, and knows this only worsens as rent, transportation, medical and other basic cost rise.  FeedNC is oftentimes the last resort for these families, and its services allow them to make it from one week to the next with dignity.  Bynum previously served as Chair of the Board and currently serves on the Facilities Committee.
