What is the Culinary Workforce Development Program?

A 10-week job training program that serves individuals who are unemployed or underemployed by providing skill classes, hands-on field training, and real-life experience in the culinary world. Students receive up to 200 hours of training, certifications in their respective field, resume assistance, and job placement support. Upon program completion, graduates are connected to local restaurants and business partners for gainful employment opportunities.

Taking Education One Step Further 

Thanks to FeedNC’s partnership with Mitchell Community College, students can also choose to further their education! Students will leave the program with at least 10 credit hours toward Mitchell Community College’s A.A.S Culinary Arts Degree. Upon successful completion of a culinary test (stage), FeedNC graduates may be eligible for up to 20 transfer credit hours at Mitchell Community College.
