As part of my responsibilities as a Board member, I will:

● represent the work and values of FeedNC to the community and act as an advocate for those we serve; ● attend at least 75% of board meetings and committee meetings; ● attend Gather at the Table, or donate an amount equal to or greater than the cost of an individual ticket if I am unable to attend; ● attend at least one special event per quarter (including, but not limited to, graduations, cooking demos, community events, fundraisers, etc.); ● make a substantial annual personal donation at a level that is meaningful to me; ● dine at Donoghue’s Open Door at least once per quarter, bringing a new guest with me each visit; ● actively tell my friends and colleagues about my role on the board and my pride in the FeedNC mission and the impact on the community; ● actively participate in all fundraising activities; ● play an active role in the work of my committee to move the organization forward; ● act in the best interest of the organization and excuse myself from discussions and votes where I have a conflict of interest; ● maintain an active understanding of FeedNC operations and, as necessary, ask questions, and request more information; ● work in good faith with staff and other board members toward the achievement of our goals; ● volunteer at least one time per year to be present during daily operations of FeedNC; ● and sign and submit both the board member contract and the conflict of interest document.
