What Is Food Movers?

The Food Mover Program at FeedNC works to meet the needs of home-bound individuals in our community who experience food insecurity. Each recipient is met in their home to determine eligibility and then if approved they are provided weekly supplemental groceries by our dedicated volunteers. Recipients are expected to complete surveys upon re-certification to assess health, well-being and food security status.

Am I Eligible to Receive Food Delivery?

Individuals must meet income and location criteria (10-mile radius from our site), as well as, be unable to access FeedNC as a result of a medical condition, disability, or serious physical ailment. This program only serves individuals and families who are considered home-bound. Individuals who meet income and location criteria but not home-bound criteria, will be referred to our Pantry Program.
